  • STEPHANIE LYONS - PRACTICE MANAGER
    Stephanie ‏Lyons
    Practice Manager

    Stephanie began working with Dr. Gill at her previous clinic in September 2004 and moved to CVH when the practice opened in November 2015.  She has been blessed to have been provided on-the-job training as a Veterinary Assistant with Dr. Gill; she completed courses in small business management through Rose State College.  Animals have always been a huge, comforting part of her life, and the veterinary field was the natural next step in her career path.  She has 2 dogs, Jet and Dash, and inherited her mom’s dogs, Riley and Annie.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dogs, and singing in her free time.

    Reception Manager

    Jaime has been in the veterinary field since 2006. She has always had a love for animals. During college, she volunteered at a local animal shelter. After graduation, she started her journey in the veterinary field. She began learning skills as a vet assistant and most recently a receptionist. Along the way, she developed much knowledge in animal care. She rejoined our team in April 2023 and is an important part of our team. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew and cats, Zelda and Jellybean. She enjoys her fish tank too. She loves nature and the beach. You can find her most of the time in her garden, taking pictures and enjoying the pool.

  • Savanna Sain
    Receptionist

    Savanna started in the vet field as a receptionist in 2016. She took a break from the vet field for a short while but soon realized that working with animals was her passion and what truly made her happy. She joined our team in August of 2022. She likes watching Harry Potter and Vampire Diaries in her downtime, but time with her family is most important. She especially loves supporting her daughter in her extracurricular activities, which keeps her quite busy! She has one dog named Severus Snape who loves doing zoomies and running the fence.

    Receptionist

    Kaitlyn has been in the veterinary field since 2018. She joined our team in September 2023. She has always loved animals whether large or small, especially pigs! She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in animal science and knew the vet field would be perfect for her journey. She loves the outdoors and cooking, especially smoking meats. In her free time, she loves kayaking, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her blue heeler, Cowboy.

    Receptionist

    Julia began working at Cornerstone in 2023. Julia is new to the veterinary field and loves it! Being able to help our clients and see their pets getting healthier makes her day. “One of my favorite jobs is calling to follow up on our patients because I usually get to hear how much better they are doing!” Julia is definitely a “dog person,” always having had a dog growing up. Last year she adopted Rey – her very first fur baby of her own. Rey is Julia’s new BFF and they are inseparable. Julia is an avid Star Wars fan. In 2021, she traveled to Northern Africa to visit some of the original Star Wars film sites. It was an unforgettable experience!

    Veterinary Assistant

    Merari got her start as a Vet Assistant in August of 2016. Merari joined the CVH team in the spring of 2021. Over the years she’s studied and gotten a lot of hands-on experience in the field, earning a few certificates. She is currently studying music production and performance, with a focus on piano and percussion. She also spends as much time as she can immersing in Mexican culture, in an effort to reconnect with her home country. Currently, her family consists of 4 furry canines, Danni, Banana, Ninna, Antoninna”, Judy “Prison Break”, and Twiggy “Iggy”. While her furry family does keep her plenty busy with their shenanigans, she has a soft spot for cats!

    Veterinary Assistant

    Sydney Swafford joined our team in May of 2019 starting out as a kennel technician, and through further training, has now become a veterinary assistant. She considers herself a big geek and loves anything Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Legos, and Marvel! She plans to further her education and one day become a veterinarian. Sydney has been around animals from a young age and has ridden horses since the young age of two. She enjoys her own horse (Lady), her dog (Nala), and her kitty (Tiger). The friendships made through her time at Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital will last a lifetime!

    Veterinary Assistant

    Stacey started with Cornerstone August of 2021. Even though this is her first time working in the veterinary field, she does have some veterinary technician training from previous schooling. She enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé Austin and their son Cooper going on motorcycle rides, fishing, swimming, and watching Oklahoma State football. She has two cats,Athena and Shadow. She plans to further her education to become a registered Veterinary Technician.

    Madison joined CVH in March 2022, starting her journey as a receptionist. Her passion for animals quickly led her to train as a veterinary assistant. Currently, Madison is furthering her education at Penn Foster, where she is studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. From a young age, Madison has been surrounded by animals and always knew she wanted a career dedicated to their care. Outside of work and school, she enjoys dancing, indulging in all things K-pop, and spending quality time with her family. Madison shares her home with five beloved pets: two dogs, Molly and Ripley; two cats, Raven and Mio; and a snake named Noodle.

    Jaqueline Estrada
    Veterinary Asssistant

    Jackie joined the CVH team in August 2023. She enjoys working at CVH because it feels like home to her. She started her education at OSU-Stillwater Fall of 2017 with Animal Science as her major and Pre-Vet as her option. She then transferred to OSU-OKC where she got accepted into the Veterinary Technician Program. She graduated in 2021 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and passed her State Boards Exam and will soon be taking her VTNE to be fully registered. Her future plans are to further her education and go back to OSU-Stillwater to become a DVM or be a stay-at-home mom. Her passion for animals started at a young age. She enjoys anything outdoors and loves nature. During her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, long-distance running, and spending time with her son, Adrian. She has 2 chickens and one dog, Shasha who enjoys stealing/eating her chicken’s eggs.

    Kennel Technician

    Abbie started with CVH in June of 2023 as our kennel technician. Abbie enjoys working with animals at our clinic, and at home, as well as showing livestock. She is the President of her FFA chapter. She likes to sit down with a good book in her free time and also enjoys shopping. Her goal is to become a veterinarian specializing in large animals.
